Australian-based company Manifesto Brands has created a notebook that literally ‘rocks’.
Called ‘Ogami’, the company calls it the “world’s first notebook” that is made from stone.
Made from ‘Repap’—a mixture of calcium carbonate and non-toxic resins—each stone page is “naturally white and delivers a beautifully smooth, creamy writing experience”.
The notebook is 100% pulp free and the production of the paper does not require any chemical bleaching or acids.
The stone paper is also recyclable, waterproof, more resistant to tearing and is surprisingly smoother and softer than traditional paper.
Besides being eco-friendly and providing an enjoyable writing experience, the company claims that Repap will still make an excellent paper airplane.
The Ogami notebooks are available in different sizes and designs, and they can be found here.
