The Tangberry coffee house in Gloucenstershire, England, now holds the world’s most expensive bacon sandwich, dubbed by the World Record Academy.
Priced at US$237, the ‘Bacon Bling Sandwich’is made from an impressive list of ingredients–7 rashers of rare breed pig bacon, sliced truffles, a free range egg, saffron and edible gold dust.
Although the Guinness World Records may not consider this sandwich a record setter, owner Paul Philips hopes to change this by creating a new category by making the world’ most expensive commercially available bacon sandwich.
