A 3D Space Amazingly Transformed Into 2D Graphics With Just Colorful Paper

Based in Brussels, Belgium, French paper and set designer Alexis Facca has collaborated with photographer Tom Joye on the “Flat” project—together, they have managed to make a three-dimensional space look like two-dimensional graphics.

Facca built a 1 x 1 meter paper set, which is plastered with colored paper to create blocks of contrasting hues—Joye would then photograph the set from specify angles to achieve a deceptively flat effect.
