Copenhagen-based photographer Ken Hermann went to Kolkata’s Mallick Ghat flower market and made a group of men pose with colorful flower stalks, bouquets and garlands for his ongoing project, 'Flower Man'.
What makes these portraits visually striking is the contrast Hermann shows in his photographs—the men and the flowers are juxtaposed against a faded background, drawing the viewer’s eyes to the subjects instantly.
