Architects Design A Modern ‘Box House’ For Low-Income Families

Mexico-based architect firm S-AR has designed and constructed a modern box-styled house targeted at low-income families.

Aptly called ‘The Box House’, it features a simple cubic structure with minimal furnishings.

Its interior consists of basic appliances such as tables, chairs and shelves. A narrow staircase leads upstairs to the bedrooms.

There are floor-length windows to let in natural light to brighten up the indoor areas as the concrete material used exudes a dull appearance.
