Living in New York City has certainly inspired French photographer Franck Bohbot—after shooting these dreamy pictures of Chinatown and Coney Island, the Brooklyn-based shutterbug has turned his attention to capturing the beauty of the city lit up at night.
Taken from 2013 to this year, his ‘Light On’ series features a diverse array of establishments, from the iconic Radio City Music Hall and Katz’s Delicatessen, to the naughty adult shops and ubiquitous diners.
Whether bathed in a warm golden glow or illuminated by colorful lights, the crisp and sharp quality of his images have a cinematic feel that makes them resemble paintings rather than photographs.
