Infamous entertainment news company TMZ recently had its Los Angeles headquarters revamped by San Francisco-based Rapt Studio.
The celebrity-inspired work-space which measures at 9,000-square-foot is largely made up of plywood, metal siding, and concrete floors, exuding an industrial vibe.
Its newsroom interior is mainly decorated with red and gray furniture, televisions and computers. A large graffitied version of the iconic Hollywood Sign and a map of Los Angeles “highlighting the thirty-mile zone (TMZ) of Hollywood studios” are key pieces in the decor.
According to Rapt Studio, “replica bombs hang over the lunchroom in reference to the TMZ signature style of news reporting”.
