This Amnesty International Initiative Wants To ‘Kiss’ Homophobia Goodbye

Amnesty International Hungary has launched a new initiative that literally wants to kiss homophobia goodbye.

Called ‘Kiss Against Homophobia’, the initiative hopes to collect 365 kisses—one for each day of the year—by October 11, which happens to be International Coming Out Day.

To participate, simply submit a side profile of yourself with your lips puckered to the website, and it will pair you with someone of the same sex.

According to the website, the goal of the initiative is to show that “a kiss between two people is the most intimate form of contact that perfectly symbolizes their commitment to one another,” and that “love is a fundamental human right regardless of gender.”
