A Fun Online Board Game That Shows The Path To Becoming A Writer

The LA Times has come up with an interactive online board game that shows the path to becoming a writer.

Many of these milestones on the map were researched by Joy Press and Carolyn Kellogg, who interviewed writers at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books—they found out that there was no strict path to success, and that becoming a writer was a process of trial and error.

Accompanied with illustrations by Paul Duginski and fun facts, we get a glimpse of what it is like to pursue a literary career.

You can play the game here—do you have what it takes to be a writer?
