Bright, Aerial Illustrations Make City Maps More Engaging And Fun To Look At

British artist Katherine Baxter enjoys illustrating detailed, aerial maps of major cities.

The illustrations show more than just the physical features of a city, they also include pop-up images of iconic landmarks and buildings in the area.

Baxter explained that her fascination with “looking at the world from above,” and “creating pictorial maps, aerial views” was inspired by her stint at Bath Academy of Art.
