Vandalizing an artful vandalism is now considered a criminal mischief and would get you charged.
Lead prosecutor Matthew Bates of Park City, Utah, and his team will be charging David William Noll with a second-degree felony for defacing two graffiti works by British street artist Banksy, according to Wall Street Journal.
Noll had shattered the glass that protects a Bansky art piece in Park City on New Year's Eve, and another work of a boy praying on his knees, explaining the cause of his act was to express that he only supports commissioned graffiti—Noll will be facing a fine of up to US$10,000 and 15 years imprisonment.
