New York-based writer Jonathan San often found himself having sartorial similarities with other men in New York. That led him to create an Instagram account he calls ‘thatjcrewginghamshirt’.
This is where he makes a personal effort to track down just how many men in New York own and wear the same shirt.
The entire account is hilariously filled with secret photos of his NYC taxicab driver, men sitting around him at a restaurant, screen grabs of TV personalities, user submissions, and others.
The shirt in question is a blue and white gingham shirt by American retailer, J. Crew.
If you ever go out on the streets one day and feel like someone is judging your outfit, know that this man probably is.
A snapshot by J. Crew employees themselves.
