Jägermeister Poutine
In Montreal, Canada, an upcoming restaurant called Brutus will incorporate bacon into every item on the menu.
Some of these dishes include a “Jägermeister Poutine”, which consists of bacon, cheese curds, caramelized red onion, and homemade Jägermeister sauce served over French fries. They also serve “Bacon Sushi Rolls”, which are also made with chicken confit, dates, and celery.
The owner, Anthoni Jodoin, said that the idea for this restaurant came from the fact that everyone loves bacon. He also wanted to create a place made for gentlemen and took inspiration from “old school” barbershops to design the interior of the restaurant.
The restaurant will also serve drinks like “Pork Soda,” which is a vodka soda served with bacon, and a Bloody Mary with a bacon rose.
Jodoin’s restaurant will be open once he gets his license to serve liquor—in the meantime, we can dream of eating these sinful foods.
