Spanish architect firm Elii Architects has designed the interior of an attic apartment in Madrid that is full of hidden amenities.
Called ‘Didomestic’, it is a “space designed to start a new life” where “anything is possible”.
The two-story loft apartment features a central cube with sliding doors that reveal hidden shelves or act as partitions to create smaller, private rooms.
Several knobs that are fixed on the wall can be twisted to “lower” tables from the ceiling in the kitchen area or even shelves that store unnecessary clutter.
On the upper floor where the bedroom is, wooden floor panels can be opened up to reveal a mirror and storage space.
Additionally, some of the compartments in the ceiling even have hidden swings, hammocks, disco lights and fans.
