ABSOLUT Unveils New Limited Edition Russian-Themed Bottle Design

As part of its series ‘ABSOLUT Cities’, ABSOLUT Vodka will be rolling out a new limited edition series bottle design exclusively for the Russian market.

Entitled ‘ABSOLUT Moscow’, the collectible pays tribute to the home country of the drink, and its ‘Russian look’ design features some of the capital’s most recognizable historical and modern architecture motifs.

Designed by Prague-based Cocoon Group and Russian fashion designer Alena Akhmadullina, ABSOLUT Moscow’s bottle design encapsulates the city’s essence—the urban, yet traditional look and feel.

According to POPSOP, ABSOLUT’s global brand director Mathias Westphal said that Russia had a “rich cultural heritage that found its vibrant live reflections in some modern hotspots across Moscow”; the bottle was created “to impress sophisticated vodka drinkers and highlights the brand’s long-standing connection with art and culture”.

ABSOLUT Moscow will be launching on 1 April 2013 in Russia, with a limit to 300,000 bottles.
