Hybrid Paintings Mix The Styles Of Legendary Artists From Different Eras

Cuban-American artist Cesar Santos has created a series of paintings that imagines what could have happened if all the great artists from across the ages were to collaborate.

By mixing the signature styles of legendary masters from the Renaissance to the Modernism movements, he produced intriguing paintings that juxtapose very different artistic elements on top of one another.

One of the paintings depicts a trio of cherubs in modern diapers, painting out of Warhol-esque “Campbell” cans.

These artworks allow the viewer to appreciate iconic pieces from the likes of Rembrandt and Picasso from a different, fresher perspective.
