Shoe designer Charlotte Olympia teamed up with British artist and body art painter Boyarde Messenger to create a collection of high heel shoes that is an ode to six legendary artists of the 20th century—namely, Pablo Picasso, Howard Hodgkin, Vincent Van Gogh, Jackson Pollock, Roy Lichtenstein and Piet Mondrian.
Made in collaboration with luxury retailer http://www.charlotteolympia.com/Neiman Marcus and Art Basel Miami, these shoes—in the style of Olympia’s signature Dolly Pumps—are hand-painted by Messenger, who took inspiration from iconic paintings like Van Gogh’s Starry Night and Piet Mondrian’s well-known abstract art.
