An Illustrated Guide To New York’s Wanderers

Brooklyn design studio MGMT has created a series of illustrations based on the different animals that wandered into New York.

Some of these wandering visitors have made themselves at home while others have been captured.

All of these animals are also given names and even have twitter accounts made on behalf of them.

From ‘Tappie’, the 1,00-pound manatee that swam from the Hudson to Tappan Zee Bridge, to the hawk that made a home on the ledge of NYU’s library, these animals have all captured enough attention to be make a lasting impression.
