When life gives you lemons, the commonly-known advise is to make lemonade—however, London-based artist Emma Parker takes another approach, she indulges in crazy stitchery.
In her series Stitch Therapy, she stitches things to help her process her “internal world of conflicts, fears and general confusions about being a human”.
Featuring beautiful embroidery, she comes up with phrases thought of when in dismay—that bring a sort of calm and smile to its viewers, as a comforting reminder that they’re not the only ones who feel this way.
