Manchester-based English photographer Dave Wood only started dabbling in photography in 2009—considering his relative inexperience in the field, his astounding macro shots of water droplets seem even more incredible.
His precisely captured photographs not only display the natural beauty of water droplets but are also beautifully surreal in how they reflect their backgrounds with such clarity.
From miniature blossoms to the Superman logo, these pictures represent one of the best instance of macro photography we have ever came across.
In 2013, Wood hopes to purchase an electronic kit to help him capture high speed collision of water drops—we are definitely looking forward to seeing those images.
