Comics website Comic Book Resources hosts an on-going art mashup collaborative series every week, where comic book characters are re-imagined creatively to fit a weekly theme.
Titled “The Line It Is Drawn”, partnering artists recreated well-known album art with superheroes for the 128th theme of the series, “Music Album Cover Homages”, last week.
From The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band to Michael Jackson’s Bad, the resulting artworks brilliantly capture the essence of the original album covers by humorously replacing the musicians with superheroes.
