New York Gallery Gets Turned Into A Fun ‘Giant Coloring Book’

South African artist Robin Rhode turned New York’s Lehmann Maupin Gallery into a giant coloring book for kids, for his latest exhibition.

As part of an educational initiative to get underserved primary school children interested in the arts—the fun exhibition entitled ‘Paries Pictus’ consisted of outlines and connect-the-dots vinyl graphic illustrations, and giant crayons and pencils.

As children love scribbling on walls, first graders, aged 6 to 8 years old, were invited to color the gallery wall outlines with the giant crayons, and connect the dots to unveil the graphics with the giant pencils.

Though the charming exhibit is aimed at children, we’re pretty sure it piques the interest in adults alike.
