Photographer Captures The Beauty Of Spinning Paint Vortexes

Swiss photographer Fabian Oefner, who has given us these wonderful 3D sound waves and bubble art, has captured the stunning beauty of spinning paint vortexes in his new project, “Black Hole”.



Dabbing a modified drill with spots of wet paint, he then switches on the power tool, causing the paint to be flung violently outwards in a centrifugal motion.



Capturing the colorful images with a precisely timed camera that is equipped with a sensor-activated flash, the photographer freezes the motion of the paint in their momentary circular orbits.
