Unusual Fashion Accessories Made With Roadkill

London-based accessories designer Reid Peppard, who works under the moniker RP/Encore, has created a series of unusual fashion trinkets that is definitely not for the squeamish.

Having created jewelery with intricate casts of animal teeth, bones and organs, she has now worked directly with the preserved bodies of taxidermy roadkill, turning them into pouches, necklaces and other adornments.

While some of these pieces, such as the mouse bow-tie, are rather cute, others—featuring the grotesquely contorted bodies of squirrels, crows and foxes—are definitely disturbing.

Using only found animals in her work, you can rest assured that no animals was harmed in the making of these strange accessories.

We cannot decide if these are really cool or just plain creepy—what do you think?
