French installation artist Cédric Le Borgne, who specialises in whimsical, illuminated sculptures, has recently created a pair of wonderful bird sculptures that light up at night.
Constructed from wire, the giant luminous birds were perched on a tree that stands off Rue de la Fontaine, in the Swiss city of Geneva.
Part of Festival Arbres en Lumière 2012, an outdoor light festival, these enchanting birds—designed to appear weightless—looked down upon the people on the street below, creating a magical scene in the middle of the city.
