A Beautiful Three-Dimensional Typeface Carefully Carved From Japanese Books

Japanese artist duo Yoshihisa Tanaka and Ryuta Lida, also known as Nerhol, has created a beautiful series of “oratorical typeface”.

Instead of using common methods of designing a typeface, the duo meticulously cut through pages of each book to create a three-dimensional, texturized alphabet that is consistent in style.

Head over to the artists website for more cut-out book letterforms.
