Artist Transforms Herself Into The Iconic World Cup Trophy

London-based artist Emma Allen, who previously filmed an amazing stop-motion video of herself aging, dying and being reincarnated, has turned herself into the iconic World Cup trophy.

It took Allen three hours to morph into a stunning human replica of the trophy with the help of body paint in front of a mirror. She then took a self-portrait while leaning against a black pillow and posted it to Imgur; the image has since gone viral, racking up over 621,700 views and counting.

“The hardest part was getting my arms and hands in the right position. I took a lot of pictures before settling on the final one,” said the artist in an interview with the London Evening Standard.

What do you think—isn’t this a creative way to celebrate the World Cup?
