Beautiful, Blurry Photographs Taken With An iPhone That Reveal Hidden Landscapes

New York City-based photographer Sam Alive takes stunning photographs of landscapes around the world with his iPhone.

His intriguing series ‘Through the Phone’ features beautiful, blurred pictures of skyscrapers, cities and sea shores juxtaposed against crisp images that bring their hidden backgrounds into sharp focus.

It’s amazing the amount of detail that can be captured within a tiny 4-inch screen; recognizable landmarks pop into view, such as a lovely sunset shot of the Brooklyn Bridge and a sweeping photograph of a city skyline.

The wandering photographer has visited San Francisco, Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, and his base New York City over the past two years, and intends to continue documenting more places in his future travels.

Check out his photographs below and follow his project at his blog and Flickr page.
