Brilliantly Minimalist, Endearing Product Labels That Feature Witty Food Puns

London-based design student Beth Fox-Fuller has created a concept redesign of British supermarket chain ASDA’s basic range of produce, and has named the project “Count on me”.

Featuring eight products in all, including eggs, beef and milk, the line was given a refreshingly minimalist packaging with labels that have been printed with witty food puns.

For instance, the label on the egg carton reads “I’m cracking”, while the one pasted on a tray of smoked mackerel says “I’m a great catch”.

According to Fox-Fuller, “one of the aims of this project was to make people smile when they see these products, using witty puns that relate to the food. Which will grab people’s attention and inject personality”.
