British muralist INSA has collaborated with Madsteez to create the “largest GIF-ITI”—an “animated” graffiti artwork presented in GIF form.
Designed for the POW! WOW! Taiwan street festival, this GIF makes it looks as though the background and various elements of the colorful street painting is shifting hypnotically.
The mural took several days to be painted in multiple layers. It is photographed in sequence during the process, producing 8 different frames that are then used to create the animated GIF.
