In The UK, An Anonymous Donor Is Giving Away Money To Lucky Twitter Followers

Last week, we featured a Secret Santa who has been hiding envelopes full of cash around the San Francisco Bay Area for lucky passers-by to find.

It appears that a similar anonymous wealthy donor in the UK has been inspired to start their own giveaway.

The mysterious person, who posts under the Twitter handle @Hiddencash_UK, has been hiding cash all over the country and leaving cryptic clues to their locations on Twitter. They have also requested that whoever finds the cash must tweet about it using the hashtag “#cashtag.”

Electrician Harry McKeown was the first person to claim the loot.

According to an interview with The Telegraph, the unknown benefactor is a 25-year-old British male who has a team of helpers to drop off the cash for him.
