Officevibe, a Canada-based startup, has come up with an infographic detailing the 13 personality traits that characterizes a disengaged employee.
You might know them, or even worked with one. They can be discerned by their apathy in the company's state of well-being or progress. Instead of being a blessing, they might be more of a hindrance to the organization.
Some traits highlighted include gossiping, lying, complaining and being unwilling to learn new things.
Nevertheless, the startup recognizes that the infographic is not perfect and that “horrible employees are almost always disengaged, but disengaged employees aren’t necessarily inherently horrible”.
