Art student Peiqi Su has created an unusual project made with interactive, 3D-printed penises.
Her odd creation started with a motivation to “study one of the oldest and probably the most attractive thing that humans interact with”—the “Penis Wall” has a total of 81 phalluses connected to sensors and motors that “erects and flaccid according to the viewer's presence and gestures”.
These artificial genitals are thought to be “intelligent and thoughtful”—performing programmed tasks such as dancing along to songs, mimicking ocean waves and even “translating stock market data visually”.
