Photographer Captures Beautiful Night Shots Of Abandoned WWII Bunkers

Dutch Double Pyramid Bunker, Maarssen, The Netherlands

Amsterdam-based photographer Jonathan Andrew recently captured some beautiful night shots of abandoned WWII bunkers in The Netherlands, Belgium and France.

Initially fascinated by the geometry and shape of the structures, Andrew became “moved by what the buildings symbolised and what they have witnessed” when he started photographing them.

With the bunkers exuding a serene calm at night, it’s hard to imagine they were once used in war.
