The winners of the 2014 iPhone Photography Awards (IPPAWARDS) have been announced, and they range from the spectacular to the evocative.
Started in 2007, the competition honors the best in iPhone photography, and this year’s winning entries came from 54 photographers from 17 countries, including Germany, France, Israel, Hong Kong, Italy, Mexico, Sweden and Taiwan.
Divided into 17 categories like Animals, Architecture, Nature, Sunsets and Travel, they include a wonderful picture of a mother goose and her playful chick, a striking wintertime shot of the Cloud Gate sculpture in Chicago, and a hauntingly atmospheric photograph of forest trees.
The top spot went to Julio Lucas of Bradenton, Florida, for his stunning photograph of an icy winter landscape.
