We are all familiar with the seven deadly sins–pride, lust, greed, gluttony, envy, wrath and sloth. But just how do these sins play out in today’s increasingly digital world?
The National Film Board of Canada, The Guardian and digital production company Jam3 have put together an interactive project called ‘Seven Digital Deadly Sins’ that explores the digital dilemmas and challenges that we face everyday.
A short clip featuring seven familiar faces, including writer and broadcaster Jon Ronson and actress/comedian Mary Walsh, will greet you when you first enter the site. You will then see six specific situations of each deadly sin, epitomized by each personality.
You can either choose to read a real-life account or play judge to a particular act. Some acts include stalking your crush’s Facebook page or flaming people online, while confessions can range from a father spying on his kids through Facebook to a photographer who is hooked onto online fetish porn.
Head on over here to find out how many of the sins you can identify with.
