To keep up with times, Mattel has given the classic doll Barbie an update with a futuristic dress.
As part of the ‘Barbie Digital Dress Doll’, the black dress incorporates the latest LED and touch-screen technology, that allows girls to create and choose their own animated digital designs to be displayed on the dress.
According to Mattel, the dress combines “fashion, sound-activation and on-trend technology”.
Users can: choose from ready-to-go graphics like hearts and fireworks; draw custom designs; and watch sound and music-responsive designs.
The dress also has a 4.5-square inch resistive touch panel and 114 tri-color LEDs.
Barbie Digital Dress Doll will be available from August at US$49.99.
