30ft ‘Kraken’ Tentacle Draws Crowd On Beach

A 30ft long ‘Kraken’ tentacle was found washed up on Port Meirion beach last Friday, but was later identified to be of a less chewy texture than expected.

It wasn’t a real tentacle after all, but a dummy in the publicity campaign for ‘The Kraken Black Spiced Rum’.

Beach-goers were led to a tent where smaller versions of the ‘Kraken tentacles’ were being served by fully-suited ‘Kraken hunters’.

The ‘Kraken parts’, including a football-sized eyeball, turned out to be delicious. They were made of fruit cake doused in Kraken Rum.
