Brilliantly Shocking Outdoor Ads Raise Awareness For Human Rights Abuse

Back in 2007, Switzerland-based ad agency Walker created a shocking outdoor campaign for Amnesty International.

The campaign was called ‘Not here, but now’. It was so shocking, that it managed to capture the attention of all passers-by.

Using real photographs taken of human rights abuse victims by traveling journalists from a variety of countries, these were placed into Switzerland’s surroundings.

The result was shocking, too, as the public who saw these, saw victims and their individual stories unfold in front of their eyes, which definitely got them rethinking the issue of human rights abuse.
