Comedian Mark Malkoff challenged himself to connect with people all over the globe via Skype, proving that you don’t need air tickets to travel the world.
Taking to Facebook and Twitter to locate people, he initiated a video chat with each of these willing participants.
What followed were heartwarming exchanges with people of all diversities, many of whom shared snippets of their lives and daily activities.
Although most of the people Malkoff connected with could speak English, they shared their native languages with him. Some even sang him songs and introduced their children and pets to him.
"It was just love and peace… you know, we're way more similar than different. And I've gotten a lot of messages from viewers around the world that… the video definitely made them laugh, but people were crying a lot. I mean, the words were just very touching,” said Malkoff about the messages he took away from the people he spoke to.
