Giant French Fries That Give Free ‘Wi-Fry’ Appear On The Streets

In a bid to promote its new crinkle-cut french fries ‘Satisfries’ that contain less fat and fewer calories, Burger King left giant, eight-foot-long fries lying on the streets of New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.

Created with the help of ad agency Mother and marketing company Big Fuel—the project dubbed ‘#WTFF’ which stands for “What The French Dry”, offered passers-by free WiFi and a free king-sized fake fry, to walk away ‘satisfried’.

The fast-food brand also photobombed the Today show one morning, by having people walking with the giant fries in the live-streamed background.

This advertising effort shows that anything upsized to the size of ‘larger-than-life’, makes it memorable and hard to ignore.
