In China, A Device That Helps You Pee Straight Is Sold Outside Toilets

Part of a crack down on dirty toilets, Shenzhen City has come up with a Public Toilet Management Act, fining people US$15 should they leave urine stains on toilet seats.

To cash in on this, entrepreneur Ma Xianqing has invented a device which prevents this mess from happening as it helps align their pee.

This “Pee Straight” device is actually a funnel attached to a 10-inch pipe, with a smaller counterpart for women, should they also have such trouble.

Many have taken to selling this contraption outside public toilets, and others have also marveled at the ingenuity of this device, suggesting that it should be patented.

Yet, this stunt has met with criticism from various detractors who have deemed it ridiculous.

What do you think—is this a creative idea, or is it simply a way to make a quick buck?
