Made for people who do not normally like the taste of beer, the Long Chuan Beer Company has produced four types of Hello Kitty-themed beers.
Although the packaging seems gimmicky and makes these alcoholic beverages look more like soft drinks, these are actual beers with four fruity flavors—peach, banana, lemon, and passion fruit.
A reporter from Rocket News 24 tasted all four types, stating that the lemon-flavored concoction was “refreshing”, while the peach and passion fruit flavors were sweet with a bitter aftertaste.
However, the banana-flavored one tasted like cloying candy, making the reporter feel like she was switching between “watered-down banana juice and beer.”
Each can costs US$1.10 and contains 2.5 percent of alcohol, making this a good beverage for those who would like to start drinking beer with something milder.
