Portrait Series Of Photographers Puts Them In Front Of The Camera For A Change

New York City-based photographer Dani Diamond has created an interesting portrait series simply named “The Project”, where he goes around taking headshots of his fellow photographers.

Putting himself up to the stressful challenge of shooting other photographers—who would not let him get away with a mediocre picture—Diamond saw the series as an opportunity to truly master the art of headshots.

According to him, not only does The Project helps him hone his craft, it also gives him the chance to “build connections and relationships with photographers all over the world”.

At the beginning, he had to approach and persuade photographers to take part in his series—they are usually uncomfortable to be in front of the camera—but as The Project took off, he has been receiving requests from potential subjects.

If you are a photographer and would like Diamond to take your headshot, you can contact him via his website or simply check out The Project’s Facebook page for more information about where he will be.
