Couple Defies Raging Wildfire, Takes Stunning Wedding Photos Amid Blazing Flames

Newlyweds April Hartley and Michael Wolber got more than they bargained for during their outdoor wedding last Saturday at Rock Spring Ranch in Oregon.

The couple were tying the knot when firefighters arrived to inform the party that the Two Bulls wildfire was rapidly heading in the direction of the ceremony, and advised everyone to leave the premises.

Before they evacuated, Hartley and Wolber took advantage of the unusual situation to create some spectacular shots of the dramatic event, which were captured by their photographer Josh Newton.

They remained defiant in the face of the raging flames and posed for photographs against the billowing smoke and burning greenery before hightailing it to their backup location.

Public response has been mixed, with some applauding the powerful nature of the photoshoot, while others have criticized the backdrop of a potentially deadly wildfire as “tasteless”.

Regardless of your opinion, there’s no denying that they make for a truly memorable series of nuptial portraits.
