Creepy 3D Skeletal Sculptures Made With 'Human' Bones'

Czech artist Monika Horčicová has created a series of bizzare sculptures using model parts of the human skeleton—it explores the “complex studies of a familiar form, through the use of unusual orientations and numbers”.

Her projects focus on featuring multiple pieces of various skeletal parts—for instance, the “Wheel of Life” uses 58 legs and feet that forms a wheel-like structure, depicting a “never-ending series of forward steps”.

The artist uses both cast polyester resin and 3D-printing in her works, creating a variety of joints and bones in different sizes to work around with.

More of her skeletal sculptures can be found on her website.
