If your phone ever runs low on battery while you are at Starbucks, fret not. The coffee chain, together with Duracell Powermat, has announced a national rollout plan of wireless charging mats, starting with Starbucks stores in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Customers can place compatible devices on these ‘Powermat Spots’–areas marked out for wireless charging–while enjoying their caffeine fix.
Keep your eyes peeled for these stations already present at a couple of Starbucks outlets in Boston and San Jose, or you can stay updated with the availability of the ‘Powermat Spots’ at more locations here.
“Additional major markets” can look forward to welcoming wireless charging in their Starbucks stores in 2015.
