If new app Paperlater is anything to judge by, paper is definitely not dead.
Possibly a reaction to the massive digitalization of print materials, Paperlater allows its users to save the online content that they do not want to read on screen and print it into a newspaper.
Created by Newspaper Club, this “save to paper” app is similar to other “read it later” services like Instapaper, Pocket or Readability—except that instead of having to read your saved content on a computer or smart device, you get it delivered to you in the form of a beautiful, tactile newspaper.
The app is in beta and currently only available in the UK—however, you can request for an invite here and hopefully the company would launch Paperlater in your country soon.
What do you think of this “save the web for paper later” concept?
