
Earlier this year, Phaidon published an eye-catching cookbook by Rose Carrarini—cheekily titled How To Boil An Egg—with a bright orange cover that is filled with “80 original recipes where the egg is the star”.
Flipping through the book, one will be greeted with what look to be particularly well-shot photographs of the dishes—amazingly, all the images in the book are actually hand-drawn illustrations by award-winning botanical artist Fiona Strickland.
Although this is hardly her area of expertise, Strickland has managed to translate Carrarini’s delicious recipes into mouth-watching, incredibly realistic visuals.
