Director Randy Moore’s Escape From Tomorrow which was filmed in Orlando’s Disney World, subverts the magic and wonder of the iconic theme park and turns it into a nightmarish vision of terror.
Shot in black and white over 11 days, the film which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival this year, centers around a hallucinating family man who abandons his wife and two children during a trip to Disney World and ends up being brainwashed in the theme park’s secret chambers.
Moore said he wanted to capture how our view of theme parks changes as adults compared to the wonderment we experience as children.
